Brazil has very strong protections beyond what the Americans with Disabilities Act provides here in the U.S. Not sure you'd get "half price", but your "companion" would be able to join you free of charge.

Well said. I have relatives (one being my 80-something-year-old grandmother) that do not use a wheelchair every day, but if they're someplace where the rest of us are going to be doing a lot of walking, the only way they can join us is if they use a chair. I also had a friend in college that lost nearly all use of her…
I think you have to give Ghana credit for their effective defense that made Bradley largely ineffective - and it is fair to say he was a weakness, but "shat the bed"? That's a bit much. It's not like he had key giveaways that led to goals by the opposition. We've seen that in the past and this was not a "Ricardo Clark…
I disagree - I'll take Van Persie (I love the Oranje, but hate RVP), but to each his own. Can't they both be special in their own way?
It's not about the $6 drink - it's about the disrespect.
The game will end up in dull affair
as too many players from both side fell victim to crappy turfbecause it's England vs. Italy.
Thank you for your impassioned response to my smart-ass contribution!
Damn you! Beat me to it.
I'll bite: I predict that Mike Shanahan will lose his job within a year of when teams trot out to play an important playoff game on that spray-painted field.
I suspect, as a start-up, Beats wasn't offering $4mil per year for 6-8 years.
I think involvement with a product related to the athlete's sport is a bit of a different situation. Presumably LeBron isn't an expert in acoustics (or hydration).
In his prime, Tiger Woods
makesmade only a tiny percentage of his yearly income on the golf course. And hemakesmade a ton of money on the course.
You have minimal credibility in this town.
Considering that the U.S. has to qualify through some pretty modest stadiums in Central America and the Caribbean, I don't think it'll hurt the U.S.
Just for accuracy and completeness, it's worth noting AEG also own the Kings. The Clippers are clearly third in the pecking order. I believe they contractually have last priority for prime weekend dates.
But... doesn't he hate hip-hop?
I find it hard to believe that U.S. Soccer was unaware of him, considering that the CEO of U.S. Soccer is an SLU alum, who is still very involved in the program. http://www.slubillikens.com/ViewArticle.db…
I think American sports fans who are newer to soccer (or who only pay attention every four years or for only the biggest games in the interim) are inclined to downgrade the chances of what we see as "Third World Countries". If you've spent your life looking at the U.S. always making the medal rounds in Olympic team…
I hope you're right, but we're gonna have to earn it.
I'm not arguing that the defense is a strength. My hope is that they're adequate enough that Howard can come up with some huge saves in key moments. A play like Chandler had against Turkey doesn't give Howard much of a chance unless the opponent then fucks it up too.
