This may be a bit random... but I'm feeling a sort of way after the longest employed staffer at Jezebel and perhaps the only senior African-American at Gawker, who had been doing Jessica Cohen's job for months, Dodai Stewart, got passed over for a women with less overall experience...

Instead of worrying about lighting in a fitting room... can Jez explain why Dodai the longest serving staffer was passed over? Or has this site become completely about bullshit?

So when is Jez going to talk about passing over Dodai...

Sitting on your ass all day is not as halfway problematic as passing over the of the most senior woman of color at Jezebel. Everyday that this site refuses to address this issue it embarrasses itself and shows it's only commitment to women of color is via it's advertisers.

Jezebel has the nerve to snark on "The View" when they passed over Dodai Stewart?????

What is horrifying on Jezebel is the lack of respect for women of color unless it is of political benefit to white women...

Or perhaps the racist sexist things are happening on Jezebel...

Are we going to pretend that what is happening isn't happening????

LOL! I am not from GB... more of an anglophile and I have to agree there are a disproportionate amount of stories cats acting like "tea leaves" over there. Our cats like to beat up dogs and their cats rob you blind. Who knows? But yes if you even look at the Times you can find a klepto city tale buried between the

So why do you think Jezebel is not treating Solange like Hope?

There was so much, LOL what was missing in your opinion?

Sure, following your line that they are afraid to critique Beyonce because she is a famous black woman.

There were mixed reports as to who attacked who because it more of a drunken brawl that involved and the judge ultimately freed Stevens because of lack evidence.

This is how you started this thread...

I saw a lot of criticism on Jez in the comments and I would argue that most the articles weren't exactly rah, rah, you go girl! It feels like in this discussion comparing Solange to Hope folks aren't saying what they truly think for fear of where that discussing may lead which is ironic given that's what folks on

Do you think it was because she is black? The others who are agreeing with you seem to think so...
