When I look at these shows, all I can think of is the talk (or game?) show in Requiem For a Dream that Ellen Burstyn starves herself on diet pills for. Just a half-remembered, unclear, dream-logic room of people chanting and yelling and smiling. The heat death of the brain.

I can’t speak on Aqua Teen, ( never watched show) But removing the Boondocks episode is so fucking stupid. So are we getting to the point where black people can’t make fun of racism? I bet a white person made this decision. 

It seems odd to say now, because Illinois is a personal top-five album, but basically every single one of Sufjan’s albums has been a grower for me, necessitating multiple listens and often months for the mix of complex orchestration and layered lyrics to open up to me.
