What’s a new development in the human condition that hasn’t been covered? That’s not to say that writing isn’t worth it. Things that have been said many times before can be explored wonderfully, but no, I don’t believe that there is anything new under the sun as far as insight. 

To me, the ‘having it all,’ myth means that you have a successful career, time to devote to your kids/partner/home, are in great shape (which takes more time unless your career is physical), while also maintaining friendships and a social/cultural life. It’s a lot.

I just looked up Wendy Rogers and she’s a piece of work. In the primaries (which she won), she accused her Republican opponent of being involved with child and adult porn through his work. Yes, of course that’s a problem. They wouldn’t have been separated before the drill and they wouldn’t be separated if there is an actual shooter- drill them how you want them to behave in the event of an actual emergency. That’s basic.
