A while ago I read that the X-Type wagon is amongst the rarest production automobiles on the roads. I'd venture the newest Saab 9-5 might be in the running also. I do love a rare 'normal' car though.

I think of this era of Taurus EVERY time I see a new Mercedes-Benz sedan emerge.. the CLA, CLS, S and new 2015 C-class all vibe in this direction. Oops.

You all *really* like that 6 series 4-door? I think it's a dud. If you put 'Chrysler 400' labels and switched the grille on that thing nobody would doubt it for a second. Reminds me of a lardier 200 and a '96 Sable. Bleh. Still less rococo than a CLS but that's no compliment.

I'm not going to defend the IS however, anybody who thinks the current 3-series is the pageant winner, might need new glasses. it's a snore and a bore for stealing the 5-series also-dull garb. Dynamically lovely (I own an e46 touring) but BMW is hardly leading the fight for interesting car design.
