Actually you should read the comments people who chose to NOT get the vaccine get on this website. They’re horrible. I’m not getting vaccinated for the time being and if I come out of the greys, watch people tear at me calling me “selfish” and “idiotic” and all other ranges of personal insults. It’s actually the

It’s a computer generated font, so not hard if you can read cursive!

So when men live on their own they have to hire a woman to come in, check for dirty dishes and smelly laundry, and ask him to clean it? Or does being loved by a woman who agreed to build a life with you physically destroy the part of your brain that makes you realize dirty clothes should be washed?

Im American Indian (registered. just prefer to not name my clan) and I don't speak for everyone. Our main complaint is we feel tribes and clans should decide who is and isn't a member. But there is growing concern that some of our stolen children were adopted out to white families and wanted to pass on their identity.

Unfortunately, the story doesn’t do a good job explaining this particular situation. Latimer played up her ancestry much more than just a passing impression from her father’s alleged story.

I once saw a tribal elder address this sort of question, and his take on it was as follows:

Because membership in a tribe is a specific thing, controlled by tribal government, with actual criteria you have to meet. It’s not decided by family storytelling or dna tests. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with saying “my family always believed we were part Native” as long as you’re talking about the story

Is Jez really doing a story about “how will the short little black lady swim”??? About the most amazing U.S. amateur female athlete? Yikes.

Uh, why not just call both “parent”? For fuck’s sake.

Not for nothing, but one day they'll have two more kids and they'll be eternally grateful to any random stranger who keeps one entertained for 30 seconds while they're trying to get through a checkout line

This article took me on a pretty wild ride. I’ve been a pretty committed Caroline snarker over the past 4-6 months - checking in on the weird subreddit they have for her and participating in multiple Caroline themed group chats with IRL friend - but I have to say I’m nope-ing the fuck out after this article. I went in

I think that WaPo article should be required reading for everyone.

Continuing with the gum analogy, it always made me think so then is it OK for your partner to get tired of you? Like you were fresh and juicy when he met you, but eventually you will be flavorless and hard and he can’t blow bubbles any more and he’s going to want a new piece of gum, right?

I listened to that 1975 album because it was getting ridiculously hyped as the OK Computer of this generation, and it’s hilariously awful. Just the song titles make me cringe. The only comparison to OK Computer is there’s a song that totally rips off “Fitter Happier”

You know Jez didn’t do any of this.  I agree with you - this is moral superiority at the sake of someone else’s privacy.  And yes, domestic violence is exactly the kind of thing that “can happen to any family” as the author wrote in the original piece.

Barb reads reviews and articles comparing this band the 1975 to bands beloved by many but especially by Barb, including Radiohead, the Beatles, Blur, the Rolling Stones, etc.

This is so sad. Gwen becomes whoever she's dating at the time. I wonder if she and Brad Pitt dated would it be like black hole that sucks itself into itself.

Good for them. This is a way to use your whiteness in a positive manner and how to be a good ally. If you see injustice, speak out. I know everyone on here know about the unequal enforcement of rules, but these ladies’ families and Facebook friends need to be shown “proof” of this treatment. Now comes the part of not
