OK, someone needs to get the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race in here to fix this atrocity. Like honestly get Kim Chi and Phi Phi to do half of these outfit designs and this show would be 3000x better by default.

Too close to call

Nope...that honor has been taken

If her doctor says she has a clean bill of health, then I believe it. But since when have the media or Trump’s rabid supporters ever exercised any ability to not blow dumb shit out of proportion or be reasonable? They are going to have a field day with this. I hope I’m wrong, but this doesn’t bode well. This could be

This is the most punchable face in the history of punchable faces.

Had Hillary considered following Trump’s health regime, this never would have happened. Sad!

Hey, just posting to let you know that you’re kind of a monster.

Being punished for breaking unjust laws doesn’t mean you “deserve it”. Deserving something means you did something bad that equals the punishment given. To say he deserves it means that you agree with the law in place. When someone deserves something, it

On Saturday, Russian officials announced that atheist vlogger Ruslan Sokolovsky has been detained for two months for “inciting hatred” and “insulting religious feelings” after posting a video of himself playing Pokémon Go inside a historic cathedral.

CTE is real, folks.

I agree Omar/Chalky's character was so contradictory at times. He wanted to help Naz by giving him the right shirt and tie or jumpsuit to wear to court but then sits there while he gets SIN BAD tattooed on his knuckles and a crown on his neck?

I’m not sure I agree with the idea that Chandra has previously been portrayed as competent. She had been portrayed and young and in over her head. Her first big character beat was advising Naz not to take the plea offer, even though they had him dead to rights at that point and the two more experienced defense

To your last point, I’d counter that the reason “Omar” (Michael K. Williams is basically the same fantastic character in every show) was so into Naz was that he was a profoundly lonely man. Naz was someone he could identify with and confide in, someone who he believed matched his intellect. The problem was that this

The most glaring error in this show as far as I’m concerned is that Andrea was found in a blood-soaked heap on her bed, with splatters going up the wall... and yet Naz woke up downstairs with only a very small amount of blood on him (from Andrea’s hand wound).

Could not agree more. I’m a bit shocked by all the positive feedback this show has received. The pilot hooked me, and it got worse and worse every episode. Shockingly poorly written.

Box counterpoint: Cops and prosecutors not pursuing any other directions because they convince themselves the first answer is the right one is completely realistic.

The show benefitted - tremendously - from an incredibly intense pilot. It hooked us and drew us into Naz’s plight right away, even though it fumbled almost every opportunity borne from that intensity in almost every episode that followed.

OMG seriously. It’s so rich that a man would have “hygienic” concerns about a woman’s attire. Like, first of all, you know nothing about female anatomy and what does/doesn’t create hygiene issues; second of all, 90% of men are 100% gross.

I was at the beach a couple of weeks ago and there were four ladies in burkinis having a fantastic time and my partner and I both commented that it was really nice to see people able to comfortably enjoy the beach on their own terms. I cannot imagine what kind of idiot would see that and think, “nope. Brown people

Oh, so public humiliation isn’t the best way to help immigrants assimilate? Huh, who knew.

I would truly love to see any research backing up the idea that swimming in something like a burkini would be unhygienic. Would be news to so many surfers and divers who wear wetsuits regularly!
