I'm very short and have dated really tall guys — my last serious boyfriend was more than a foot taller than me, and I've dated taller since. Honestly, it's more of a problem for kissing than it is for banging. Being horizontal tends to help, as do things like countertops, chairs, etc.

Pretending that happens in a vacuum, without the significant barriers that do, in fact, exist, doesn't help. That's like telling poor people they should just make more money.

Ehhh his original post was pretty offensive, especially once you get to the part where he talks about how something in women's DNA makes them harder to book for a show. http://theagenda.tvo.org/blog/agenda-bl…

Yes, let's all just go produce our own shows. Problem solved.

Yep. But at least she mentions it in the column.

Don't forget that often, "doing what it takes" means waiting to be asked on the show by a chase producer. So sure, it's great to say women should take that opportunity, but let's not forget it presents itself to them way, way less often.

This column is basically a re-write of Steve Paikin's post from this winter, though at least she acknowledged it.

Thank you. I learned something today.

Huh. I don't remember her at all from Zombieland.

Maybe because ignoring creepy vibes exposes you to serious, actual danger? Are you really suggesting that women compromise their safety just to appease the ego of socially inept men?

Really? Because I'm also in Canada - Toronto, to be specific - and I hardly ever hear partner outside of same-sex relationships. And even then, it doesn't seem as popular as it used to be.

I had no idea. That almost makes it better.

I drove through Florence twice this weekend and the watertower made me laugh both times.

Is there such a thing as non-accidental diarrhea??

I hear you. I'm normally drawn to really tall, lean pretty boys - my friends can all point out who'll catch my eye in a bar - but the guy I'm dating now is average height and really stocky. Still think he's super hot, though, and personality is a big reason for that.

I've gotten catcalled while wearing a puffer coat and I'm not even that busty. So it wouldn't help.

There should be a happy medium, no? Something that lets you know it's over without being a jerk about it. Even a white lie.

They're total stereotypes, I'll admit, but they include: dick pics, fedoras, regrettable tattoos, shirtless bathroom mirror selfies, posing with tigers, anything along the lines of "no fat chicks" in the text portion, etc. It's a constantly evolving list.

Yes, that narrows the pool significantly, but hey, every time I

Oh, of course. I just meant that the decency is value added, in Tinder terms. Personally, I reject largely on perceived douchey-ness, even if they're hot.
