Calling ahead seems like it would be a good idea... But if a person is deaf or hard of hearing that becomes another burdensome task. I know they make phones for deaf/hoh people but I think they’re a pain to use (I’ve only seen one, haven’t used one).
They could be helped all at once if the manager played the movie with captions, as they requested. I’m not getting where the confusion lies here. I’m sure hard of hearing and deaf people have support groups/social outings, so while 18 hard of hearing people going to a movie is probably more than the theater usually…
