I’m still incredibly angry about the success and awards recognition that Hacksaw Ridge got, the fucking disgusting Jesus-job disguised as a prestigious war movie. And also made by fucking racist Mel Gibson, who oh so clearly enjoyed portraying the Japanese as, basically, brainless in the movie. Fuck off, Mel, fuck off.

It can be two things.

It’s a tough sell. It’s a pleasant comedy, it has some well-written jokes, and possibly potential, but at the moment it feels like I’ve seen this show a thousand times. It very strongly reminds me a softer version of I’m Sorry (which, I know, no one has ever seen), a little less brash version of American Housewife…
