Tom,
Hypothetically speaking does the government have the means to make it unregisterable without the update?

Exactly, McLaren admitted they overdid the wing adjustment which resulted in serious oversteer.

Which is why in my Jetta I gave up with the phone and just dumped it onto an SD card that lives in the headunit. The interface for navigating the SD card is just like the CD changer.

That would be about the only way I would stay with the brand at this point.

That could be true, I’m generally not in the SUV market but with the potential of a growing family I went looking to see if VW sold something larger than the GSW without the ridiculous price point in the event that they buy back my EPA offending JSW TDI.

But are they going do anything about the Tiguan having less interior space than the GSW?

I hate driving in steel toe boots as it kills most of feel due to how stiff the soles are I can’t imagine how that would work in those heels.

That price difference is in part due to your state goes about taxing diesel differently than gasoline. Diesel is currently cheaper than premium here and is often very close to midgrade in cost.

I’ll take one in blue to replace my JSW TDI!

I still have nightmares about the fleet of Chevrolet Celebrities my high school had for behind the wheel.

As a life long VA resident I can’t recall the last time I saw actual aircraft enforcement being done. I can’t imagine that it is cost effective to keep the aircraft in the air even if you are ticketing people all over the place.. Thus I’ve always considered the “mythical” aircraft enforcement to be more look the

I’d be down with handing my 2013 over for a new model, assuming my payments don’t start over.

Isn’t there an inspection in Maryland that only gets done when a car is sold? Maybe it’s safety? All I know is many NOVA businesses register their trucks at the Maryland office for some reason.

That may be but it is also a perfect example of an appliance that I would love to not have in my driveway.

This is pretty much me, though I most certainly don’t want another VW. I was hoping to keep this as a DD/Roadtrip car and upgrade the Mrs. 2008 Corolla to a Model III but I think that plan has been tossed out the window.

I suspect the Commonwealth of Virginia will not allow me to renew my registration without the recall having been performed and the car passing emissions. For states that do not have yearly or bi-yearly inspections that is completely different question, I’m looking at you Maryland.

Do you want me to rub my tummy and pat my head too? Jenson with the biting sarcasm.

Interesting, that likely explains the Montana plates on of the F40 that shows up at Cars and Coffee around here.

When I bought my Jetta in 2013 It was Exterior Color/Interior Color/TDI/Manual. Pick any three of them if you want any chance of finding one. I selected the Interior Color option as the one I was willing to accept either color provided the other three met my choices. Then VW gives Patrick the exact car I wanted in

Wait, they gave you a blue manual diesel wagen with the beige interior. That combination is a unicorn, I looked all over the east coast for it when I bought mine in 2013. I ended up with the black interior all because I didn't want the sunroof.
