I have a suspicion about this. McDonald’s menu pricing is . . . pretty shocking across the board. You can consistently and easily get an excessively large meal for five to six bucks. No one else is churning out those sort of calories for that kind of money. Taco Bell is spendy by comparison!

Somehow that’s always the way. A taser is non-leathal when a cop is holding it, but it’s a deadly weapon if anyone else has it. He’s too drunk to be in public, but two trained police can’t possibly subdue him without resorting to deadly force.
