They must have only been looking at national chains. I live in Colorado, where we have Fat Shack. (Which also exist in Washington state and Texas for some reason.)

For 25k you can get a LOT of work done on the Passat AND get bus passes for people who think they’re too good to ride in it.

Is Cohen about to start singing like it’s 1991 and he’s one of the members of Color Me Badd?

Probably not. I can’t draw, so I did a palette swap on Woody Woodpecker. I also found a couple samples of the imagery used to dehumanize people of African ancestry. In fact, this imagery was famously used in children’s entertainment, just like the current case in question.

The older term was “Model and aspiring actress.” They used to be easily dismissed with an eye-roll, but now they have the power of the Internet behind them. What have we wrought?

I’ve heard that with revolvers as well. Some idea that the mechanisms are “tighter” when dirty. I don’t understand this thought process. If the parts don’t fit REPLACE THEM!

HOW DO YOU DO FELLOW HUMANS?

“Pencil whip”, I know you’re legit ;-)

I took Airborne training at Ft. Benning in ‘93. One of they guys in my company had a “cigar roll” failure on a jump. Thankfully the combination of the training and his presence of mind allowed him to deploy his reserve and ride it down safely.

Wow. Will and Jada would seem to have some excellent genes, but damned if they can make a baby with a neck that can hold his or her head properly.

A fair point. But if we sit around and watch people be abused out of fear, then we have already lost.

This is a fair point. I am white and I do recognize that intervening in this way is less likely to cost me something than it is for a PoC.

Yes!

Intervening in a wrong is always going to carry some risk. Each person has to decide what level of risk they’re willing to accept.

Well, I don’t see how you can account for someone who reacts to a calculated effort to deescalate by escalating. If that comes to pass I imagine all you can do is defend yourself and the victim.

Look, I’m not Gandhi. Throwing hands is for sure plan B.

It seems like this shit is going to be the new normal. I think this comic contains stellar advice on how to react if you’re a third party witness to this sort of thing.

Come on! It’s a 1.1% improvement! That’s obviously the difference between humanity and inhumanity.

too much wasabi on the sushi

Insecurity.
