The aliens were tastier than expected.

New data, but that new data could be changes to the filesystem itself, which could break access to old data if they are corrupted.

This board actually rides like it’s on rails, it’s the exact same thing as one of these, just larger:

Close but not exactly right. The magnets are built into the ground, like a rail. The board itself has a liquid nitrogen cooled superconductor in it.

Does for me. Are you on android or ios?

Was this article inspired by the Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe talking about her last week?

I think it’s a little unfair to say it’s the third such loss this year. The other two completed their missions successfully, and were only lost when attempting an experimental landing afterwards that had no impact on the mission.

1.1 gigawatts? They couldn’t scale it up 10% more?

That would just give you a bigger pothole.

She was named blue because of her blue stripe.

I don’t think anyone’s arguing that Jon Snow’s death was ambiguous. The question is not “did he die”, it’s “will he be brought back to life”. Notice that everyone involved keeps saying “he’s dead” and not “he’s off the show for good” or “he’s not going to be resurrected”.
