The fridge/water bath combo is the best compromise if you're not in a huge hurry. And not just cold water, put ice in there too. The water will still be above freezing, and will conduct heat quickly, but is still cold enough (and will stay that way in the fridge) that the food stays completely safe.

I haven't watched them either, but from what I heard, yes. The odd part is just him digging for daily doubles in categories he doesn't know well, then betting super low. He still bets normally on the ones he does know.

Introducing one new food every couple days makes sense. But feeding them nothing but that new food is idiotic.

It's not the hunting for daily doubles that's annoying people (not me), it's hunting for them and betting next to nothing, just so that someone else can't get them.

I don't quite get why paying cash to get a car not registered to you makes more sense than a credit card which, ideally, could be traced to you if you really weren't suppose to walk out with the car.
