Oh, I’m sure of that.  Jan 6th will look like a Day of Love compared to what his legions of morons will do this time.

If Putin denies it, it must be true.

I’d say he should be in prison but that would definitely be cruel and unusual punishment... to the other inmates.

Drumpf, the only moron that could get me to vote for a Democrat president for the third time.

Marketing actually signed off on calling this thing a ‘Flea’?  I get that it’s a historic name, but that doesn’t make it any better.  I refuse to ride a motorcycle named after an insect unless it’s a Dung Beetle.

Trump says it’s his vote to lose, but that’s only if enough D’s stay home and not vote like they did in ‘16.

Does a brand new $20k car come with rust, a rebuilt/replaced engine, and a rolled over odometer?

Is our market so fucked right now that a 45 year old VW has appreciated to nearly double its MSRP when it was new? ND until that extra zero comes off.

Do you really think that just because a late night comedian makes a joke about the truth that it’s no longer the truth?

That, too.  When I lived downtown I went 10 years without a license, now that I’m back in the suburbs I have one again.

The younger the person the less likely they are to have a driver license.  30 years ago when I graduated high school I only knew one person without a DL.  My GFs daughter graduated this year, of her friend group of 20+ only one had their DL.

Ideally the person renting out the car would be covered by Turo’s insurance, but Reddit and other sites have more than a few examples of Turo screwing the owners over when the car was damaged.

I can’t find anything about it on Turo’s Terms and Conditions (I think they hide it in the agreement that is made for each individual trip), but every traditional car rental agency states the renter will be responsible for all damages if the vehicle is used to commit a crime. Even if the renter bought coverage through

Does this “campaign of thefts” extend across the entire country? Because porch pirates are not new, they’re not organized in one group, and it definitely should be minimized compared to causing tens of thousands of damage and assaulting someone with a vehicle.

Most insurance policies have a clause stating they will not pay out in the event the vehicle is used for a crime, and deliberately running someone off the road definitely sounds like a crime.  I wouldn’t be surprised if all the insurances involved refused to pay out.

Booby trapping your property with explosives would likely result in felony charges.  Just follow Mark Rober’s lead and make some stink/glitter bomb packages.

But now you’ll only be out $28k instead of $30k.

Odd take.  Their sales in the US have continually grown year over year, with the exception of 2022.

$30,000 in damage to save a $20 Etsy necklace! Huzzah!

And how!
