I don’t understand this product category at all. If I need to keep things quiet to not disturb others, I’ll use headphones. If I don’t need to worry about disturbing others, I’ll use regular speakers. What role does this product fill, other than relieving idiots of their money?

I love loud music, and there is no tablet that comes close to being loud enough compared to my home stereo. This commercial is almost as nonsensical as the story you did about MP3's sounding as good as lossless files. Does anyone at Gizmodo even know what music is or how to listen to it?
