Herbal tea is the best tea but otherwise you are correct.

I actually alternate Aveeno Baby shampoo and Honest shampoo/body wash on my toddler. I think the Aveeno one smells nicer but the shampoo/wash combo is just so convenient most of the time. Target has a good selection if your nose is up to it.

Worst superpower ever. My kryptonite was Sesame oil for my first trimester. (Does it still smell bad to you? Aveeno Baby for eczema and CeraVe are the only lotions I use anymore.)

My whole house’s products match and I have no shame about it. Super cute packaging.

I’ve been using Honest for 3 years and do not want a cent back, thanks. Well, maybe for the dish soap. But the rest is great. And I’ll be honest myself; I don’t give a shit what’s actually in it as long as it works on my sensitive skin and doesn’t make my kid break out in a rash like so much else out there does.

Exactly. I’ve both met her and listened to her on panels when and since the brand launched. She is DEEPLY involved and very very serious about it.

I DO. I Even have a little $ on a gift card still from Xmas. Thanks!

Wait, what? Matcha kit kats? Where and how.

I bet she would have shared.

THE WORST. Those ladies are crazy fast, too. I once had a neighbor I passed on the street during a walk put her cigarette down and reach for him-while he was in my arms-in one swoop. Cause the only thing I’m more into than having strangers touch my child is having second hand smoke blown in his face.

They usually do it so fast you don’t know what’s happening until their hands are on you. And then I just kind of back away or turn around or something passive aggressive like that. I wish I could be ruder about it.

Went to a farmers market with my mom this weekend and got a beautiful head of romaine. We went to the grocery store afterward and I asked her what she was doing as she put a head of iceberg in the cart, reminding her that we just bought the romaine.

I’m so over it. My first pregnancy I went with it and this time around I’m having none of it (also, I’m 15 lbs heavier in general this time.). I bought a couple “cute” ones from the Jessica Simpson line at Motherhood but I could wear them at 3-4 months but probably won’t again until 9 months cause they make me look

Because offering horizontal stripes as the primary pattern for maternity clothes isn't enough for you? We should always look MORE pregnant, you know.

Because Kaiser is amazing and Anthem is the devil. I had Kaiser for 33 years. I’ve had Anthem for 6 months (husband’s new job, I’m self employed). I switched my son back to KP after literally a month (through Covered CA) because the price of double coverage was worth it just to avoid the headache. I haven’t dealt with

More women should find partners with single fathers. My FIL has been single for 20+ years and cooks, cleans, etc. etc. and taught his sons to do the same. (My MIL doesn’t let my step FIL lift a finger so I’m ignoring that puzzle piece here)

Are we sure this photo isn't of his back? Like, they look the same. Head. Beard. Same.

No, you said they weren’t working full time and it seemed like you said that simply because they were working from home. I may have read that wrong, but that’s what I was responding to. I get my panties in a bunch when people imply I don’t work full time because I have flexibility with my hours so was mainly just

Right? It ended up being “faster” for me to hand express. And nothing is sexier than treating yourself like a cow. Ow, by the way.

Sometimes the kid eats too often to have anything left to pump. Sometimes pumping doesn’t work with your body. Sometimes a kid won’t take a bottle AT ALL. My husband really wanted to do half the feedings and we tried. Hard. But it just didn't happen.
