Honestly, if Interstellar cut down on the faux-intellectualism and stuck to telling a story about how much a father loves his family it would've been a much, much better film.

I'd say cinematography rather than directing. Because I think Nolan's direction is actually the weakest part of his game.

I didn't even hate Interstellar.
