I've been using a Schick Quattro because the tiny wires really cut down on razer nicks on me, but the high price is getting tiresome. Does anyone know if the DSC's 4X blades are comparable to the Quattro or if it would even fit on the Quattro handle? Thanks

Umm, yeah... bet this guy doesn't do any visual design work. I know ultrabooks and iPads are becoming the norm for many people, but for a small creative subset, a powerful workstation with multiple monitors still rules.

oh my...

True, other companies use Foxconn and other Chinese firms to produce their products, but with the extremely high consumer demand for the iphone / ipad and Apple's enormous profits, that just makes the Apple production line even more evil. Seriously, how many of us would pay 3x more for in iPhone? or what would apple

While I have no doubt that Americans are spending more on technology/mobile services than before, the methodology of this study is highly dubious. A thousand subscribers to iYogi doesn't equal most Americans. Those are gonna be tech savvy younger and probably more liberal minded people. I highly doubt "middle America"

Agreed, leaving a safe gap between you and the car in front of you eventually results in a lot more cars "breaking line" in front of you and a slightly longer commute for you because you did the right thing. Most drivers are self-centered and don't really care about the safety and efficiency of the "greater good".

@ kook - yes, I wasn't referring toward the PIGS as much as the middle and northern Euro countries. I didn't drive in my travels in Italy and I surely didn't want to.

Yes, I realize owning a car in most of the US is a necessity, due to decades of urban planning based on cars and forever cheap gas, but attitudes toward the driving society as a whole and the rules of driving should be stressed even more because of our highly car-centered culture.

Sadly, I think American drivers have a self-centered "me first" attitude, whereas European drivers tend to think of the greater good. Hence they use turn signals, aren't squaters in the passing lane, know how to "zipper", etc... It's probably because of a more "socialist" attitude. "Socialist" being an evil word here

You can get a nicely detailed Syma Cobra 3 channel micro RC copter with gyro and USB charger from Newegg for $20 shipped. As a fan of these little RC copters, I can tell you that even a cheap 2 channel one is a crappy waste of money.

aerosol can of hairspray and a lighter - way more fun and effective

Nice! Actually our short list has been narrowed down to the scion Xb, Matrix/Vibe, and Mazda5 with a manual. We still haven't test drove the Mazda5, since there just aren't that many around, but thanks for the tip!

I'm glad to have owned all manual transmission cars (except for one) and now that I'm married and shopping for a big practical wagon/hatch, I'm very glad that my wife is pushing to find something with a stick!

I like it, but until everyone can accept payment with this technology, we're still gonna have to carry around a real cash, credit cards, and at least a driver's license or some ID, so... that still means a wallet. Also, my htc's battery life sucks...

Wish it was the P-51 D model, but still an awesome illustration and desktop idea.

In tough economic times, it's natural for companies to fall back on their bread and butter appliance mobiles, but with all this new competition, Honda really should devote a bit more funding to designers and engineers. They need to create some buzz again!

Well here in Portland OR, a great many bicyclists have been treating red lights as suggested stop signs all the time. Many of those arrogant hipsters on fixies don't even slow down as they blast through the red light.

Um how is he or anybody else a moron for doing something as simple as pumping their own gas? I've been changing my flat tires, changing my oil, doing my own tune ups, and pumping my own gas for 20+ years and then I move to Oregon and I'm not all of a sudden not qualified to swipe a credit card and use a gas pump?

Downloaded and installed fine on my viewsonic G-tablet running vegan-tab 5.1, but then popups keep saying it doesn't support this device every time I try to play something. Crap, the hardware should easily be able to run streaming hd video. Hope the XDA developers can fix this...
