When are they bringing back the Prelude?! I love my 97SH, but its getting old and can now get beat by stock civics =(

It can be argued that Japan and Korea made cheap tinny cars at first and they took styling ques from the Germans and other established auto makers, but at least they didn't straight out copy other car designs and I have less faith that Chinese cars will actually improve in quality and engineering any time soon. If…
@TR3-A: Cause the new Mini is a sanctioned modern interpretation of the classic Mini and it comes from Rover (even if it is owned by BMW). This thing is blatant rip off from the modern interpretation from a cheap knock-off company.
I like the idea of the Ridgeline and it's build quality, but I have to admit that this concept looks much nicer. So if Honda were to "borrow" back this design for an updated Ridgeline would China cry foul???
Good list. Since 02 I've been daily driving (and hooning) a used 97 Prelude SH and loved every day of it. It's burning oil, a bit rattly, and the ATTS is acting up, but overall it's been very very reliable for a 12+ yo car with 140k miles.
@Adidac425: I've been driving a used 97 Prelude SH for over 6 years now. It's small, but surprisingly practical and still fun to drive after all these years. Don't get a riced out one and don't get the auto stick / manumatic tranny - too many problems and not as much fun anyways...
Huh, I kinda already designed a series-hybrid versions of one of these back in 02 without even knowing it. Now if I could just build it for that price... video: [phrancis.com] design process: [phrancis.com]
@skyline6: I totally agree. They just get worse looking as each new one comes out. I like most of the new Hondas and their new concepts, but wtf Acura?!
@poodfoison: Well it's lighter and cheaper... Add angrier snail and say goodbye to warranty?
I still lament the fact that Ford/Mercury stole the look of my 12 year old Honda Prelude's headlights...
Kudos to such a small, reliable, and legendary engine!!
My 10k rpm raptor is a 67 while the standard drive 7200rpm drive is 57. Ehh...
@ Ihaveasmartpuppy I actually thought of doing the same, but didn't want to be laughed at by my kayaking buddies...
Just to be clear - these gloves are totally waterproof on the outside and do not soak in water like a neoprene wetsuit. Normal neoprene gloves are like rubberized foam that gets wet, but you end up warming that trapped layer of water, which becomes a barrier and keeps you warm. When it's really cold, that just isn't…
I have those exact Glacier gloves pictured. I paid $29 regular price at Next Adventure in Portland Ore. I use them for cold water kayaking and washing my car in the winter. Compared to my regular neoprene gloves they are totally waterproof, much warmer, and wick sweat from my hands.
Now that I'm engaged and a home owner, Id like to trade in my 5th gen Prelude for another fun, but practical car like a Mini Cooper S or wrx wagon, but the reliability and value of the fit is hard to say no to...
I'm reading LH on those same two monitors... Why is "productivity" being measured in the # of text documents on screen? Since I'm a grahpics / multimedia person my productivity is greatly increased, now that I can have all my tool pallets spread out.
But how vil Zem Duke boyz jump zat ting?
