Aha! Take note of the denial, Kelion said: "Banjo has been designed to be played using a game pad", but Ken Lobb said "Kazooie [...] carries this wrench [...]. So you basically grab with the wrench and then you twist the controller around and it'll move different things in the game".

@Handbanana37: Me too, I'd hate to see a new Ghostbusters film with new characters. Especially with all the talk of Ben Stiller et al playing the 'busters.

All I've seen of the game is the recent trailer, but if I had one criticism of it, it would have been the design of the main character. It looked like she'd been given the Poochie the Dog treatment, in fact I'm surprised she didn't have shades on...

Sounds good. I didn't think Forza 2 looked bad by any means. The frame rate was solid and the cars were nicely detailed, but it did look a little plain in places I thought. So a more visually impressive game is certainly a bonus in my book.

Deleting and re-downloading or using an SD card are completely shit cop-out excuses for not providing more storage. Swapping a DVD only takes a few seconds, waiting for something to copy from the SD card or to download takes significantly longer.

Awesome, I still love this game, I'll definitely be buying it. Now if we can just get Dark Forces II ported across I'll be 100% happy. :)

Does Bioware's "strategy" involve not treating the customer like a criminal and not using shit like SecuROM on their games?

I hope this is a new single player game like Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I started replaying that one recently on Steam and the levels are fantastic, they're honeycombed with secrets and hidden areas. It's just a shame the game crashes after about 3 levels and Valve don't seem to give a toss about patching it...

I loved Doom 3, I don't understand the hate for it at all. It kept all the classic features of the original and added lots of fun new ideas.

I really want this game, it's looking really fun!

I've been replaying Megaman 2 recently and this is looking suitably retro. However, it will be interesting to see how committed they are to the old-school concept. Megaman 2 has some annoying levels, like the HeatMan stage with it's instant death falls into lava if you don't know the timing and position of each

So how do they plan to fix bricked systems? They seem to be keeping very quiet about that. Presumably they're going to force people to send in their PS3, wipe their hard drive and then send it back.

Where's the Sega presser with Shenmue Trilogy, Panzer Dragoon Saga 2, OutRun 3, Daytona 3, Jet Set Radio 3, Crazy Taxi 4 and Dreamcast 2 announcements?

@Garo: It's hardly a bad thing no-one has clicked on the link in this case, as the Daily Mail is just a racist hate rag. :)

Typical of the Daily Mail, as a racist tabloid rag it highlights the costs and problems caused by black consoles and completely ignores the problems caused by white consoles. ;)

Not bad looking, although I'm not sold on the design of the main character yet. As long as the gameplay is as sublime as Sands of Time and not crap like the sequels I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

So what's Sony's solution for the people who have bricked PS3s? Are they stuck with losing their save games or do they have to send their console back to Sony (and possibly still lose their save games)?

Considering the pittance Gordon Clown sold our gold reserves for, I wouldn't be surprised to see his DS on eBay for £5.99.

Horribly amateur Photoshop skills alert! You'd think whoever did it could have at least tried to make sure the screens lined up!

I think the main reason the 360 dash uses a lot of empty space and uses very large fonts is because it needs to scale down to 4:3 SD resolution televisions, and tiny hi-def fonts just won't be legible. The "wasted" space at the sides would also be cropped off in 4:3. So while that design above does a good job of
