That’s pretty much how I feel, too. I wanted to like The Root, because god knows my whitebread ass could benefit from exposure to some differing viewpoints. But it’s just the same click-bait, echo chamber bullshit.

Twitter could, theoretically, argue that selling to Musk wouldn’t be in the best interest of the shareholders because selling to Musk would be harmful that it would cause people to leave which would make it less valuable.
We’ll see how this plays out, but I suspect this is one of those situations where millions of people loudly proclaim that they’re going to leave Twitter, and about %1 of them actually do.
