We are not partying with the Goot right now :(

It fits! The damn thing fits! And I thought there were no more spaces. Am I an idiot or what?

You do realize that “moron” is an outmoded word that means exactly the same thing as “retarded”. The word to describe that condition has changed many times over the years as people start using the current word as an insult. See also “Simpleton”, “Imbecile”, and “Feeble-minded”.

Agreed. I prefer landing in glass half full fields.

But there was no bomb? Just some shit that would burn. Green Berets can make a more effective bomb than that in your kitchen. I think this was some kind of performative suicide.  If it was an actual assault, why not drive the truck INTO the building?

Count me among the people who believed that calling someone a “Chad” was an insult. Today I’ve learned that being called a “Chad” is apparently a compliment.

Point 2 - Making a small bomb is pretty easy. People do it on accident all the time. Making a large, controlled explosive that does exactly what you want in world where a lot of stuff is specifically designed to not blow up is where things get really tricky. That also takes a lot more focus & planning than you expect

I mean, the uncle’s claims are suspect. Being a patriotic American and supporting MAGA/Trump are mutually exclusive states.

I thought “Chad” had something to do with Florida presidential elections. That’s how old I am.

A Chad is a good thing? I thought it was a male Karen. I’m so confused with slang today. I miss the tubular, bodacious days.

My guess was a little “higher” than yours.

Before Marcel made it to the Oakland Zoo, though, it spent a night in the arresting officer’s home before being left in the care of Madera County Animal Services.

“The manual car market has been going crazy for almost a decade. I don’t think it has to do with the production numbers. I think people are just nostalgic and enjoy the art of driving / feeling of a manual car. ”

Yeah, I drive a 2015 WRX, and I’ve actually become WAY more conscientious  of my driving habits than I used to be. Ironically, I get around much faster than I used to, experience and knowhow.

It’s all about risk assessment. If X animal is running across the street and I can slow down or stop to avoid it, I will, it’s not like I see a squirrel and floor it. But if the options are hit it, because I can’t avoid it, or make a dangerous maneuver to avoid it and possibly get in a wreck, again depends on the size

Yeah, that’s an odd one to call a myth. I can eat a sandwich when I’m driving on I80, but not while maneuvering city or town streets.

Manual cars ARE safer. My original response to the OP was removed (intentionally), but I’ll continue to disagree, that it’s a stupid myth (or a myth in general). You’re obviously lying if you think a manual car doesn’t force you to pay some kind of attention to the act of driving and your surroundings. You’re also

Exact, it’s metaphorical. Driving a brodozer clearly shows you are seeking attention/validation, which is often a sign of poor self-esteem/insecurity.
