More exciting electric cars, please and thank you.

I don’t care how far the tech is or will be in the future, I’d be STRESSED AF letting my car drive itself into oncoming traffic like this. I’ll just keep driving myself, thanks.

Inspiring stuff!! I have a few things to fix on the M3 when I take it out of storage and this motivates me to start looking for tutorials right away. The most puzzling one will be the driver seat’s side adjustments that are not working, I don’t even know how to disassemble the seat 🤔

Neutral: F no. To the point where I’m wondering what I will do if/when my employer asks that I go back full time to the office. Working from home has added an extra 1.5-2 hours in my day, meaning I spend more time with the kids, exercising or just relaxing in the evening. Would I trade that for traffic just to keep my

I was a big fan of Bollinger but the price point is just ridiculous. I appreciate the utilitarian aspect, but the Hummer is cheaper, and the R1T/R1S are 50k less. I’m not sure what the target audience for the B1 is.

... which just proves he used that measure to make it sound more impressing. “Half a mile” is much more relatable, but not nearly as impressive as seven football fields!

It reminds me of a short documentary from a Mohawk teen about his daily ride to/from college, which involved him riding his ATV to a bus stop, then a bus ride to school, which overall took him more than an hour. His ride back was usually in darkness, in the cold (it’s winter here).

It’s one of those things that makes your brain flip because you know it shouldn’t look good, yet somehow doesn’t look half bad.

The Aztek could be ugly AF, especially with the large plastic cladding, but I always kinda digged it. I guess I saw the potential through the ugliness, like these guys:

Wouldn’t a conversion be prohibitively expensive? You would need a transmission that can handle the power (ok maybe less for the Mazda than for the C8 or GT-R), custom-made adapters to fit it where the old transmission used to be, a custom-made center console, and since modern cars are filled with electronics, either

I kinda like it but I don’t think you’ll get flamed. There was one for sale while I was shopping for an M3 and the thought of people giving me that “ewww that color” look was enough to not even go check it out.

Car buying for tall people is a PITA. For me the problem is both legroom, especially the center console invading my leg space, and manufacturers insisting on fitting small-ish cars with small seats. Most cars I tried the seat area is either not large enough to fit my butt (I’m not even fat!), or not long enough to

TL;DR: MB’s boring/overpriced/short range electric CUV isn’t selling well, and it might be time to shop for a reasonably priced I-Pace. Gotcha.

My thoughts exactly. Who decided Tesla = luxury? Is it because of the price of their vehicles? In the BEV realm, Teslas are not that expensive. In fact, the Model Y and the Ford Mach-E are similarly priced in both their RWD standard and AWD long-range variants. Does that make Ford a luxury car maker?

That is quite cool! Coordinates are always a PITA to copy/paste between apps because, for some reason, the format varies slightly...

Asking that question shows a lack of imagination. Tesla sells a tweaked Model 3 with the most boring name (Performance), and it will sell a tri-motor Model S with the most childish name (Plaid).

Most probably a sports car. Currently an E92 M3, but I might replace it when the kids grow up and I don’t need those back seats.

This is kind of a difficult concept to describe, but I love wonderful things that are at least on some level ridiculous. I love things that show incredible levels of thought and innovation, but for very questionable goals.

I think it’s important to explain that in Quebec we have a mandatory collective insurance for everything road related. I’m not the best person to explain how it works in details but, in a nutshell, if Joe decides to ride his motorcycle with summer tires in icy conditions and is badly injured in the process, all Quebec

My stress-relief car is in storage, I’m so jealous :(
