Whole house humidifiers in cold climates
Whole house humidifiers in cold climates
Reverse: bring it on! Snowshoeing, drifting my wife’s Crosstrek in the snow-covered streets, kids playing in the snow while adults enjoy a peaceful house, there are dozens of reasons to welcome snow in this boring period. Especially that we don’t have to commute to work!
Boring, sure, but pointless? CUVs represent the largest segment in the US, any serious maker needs at least one in its lineup. I don’t see how the Escape is pointless.
I don’t think small light cheap cars can’t be driven badly. I’m not poor either (far from it). What point are you trying to make?
Except “most nice things” are not 3600lbs of metal speeding on public roads.
Tesla tech dressed in BMW styling? This is by far the most appealing proposition I’ve read here. It makes me dream, and dreams sell cars.
Totally agreed. The 911 Turbo has been my dream car for as long as I remember, but I’ve recently wondered who on earth needs a 640hp car that can do 0-60 in 2.7 seconds. I mean, the GT3 is the widely accepted “track Porsche”. What’s the point of the Turbo S then, considering it can accelerate to speeds beyond what the…
My parents ‘85 Subaru GL had those lights! You can barely make it out in this picture s-l1600.jpg (1600×1071) (ebayimg.com)
BY FAR my favorite piece of quirky engineering. More pictures (lots in fact) of MD-160, before it was moved:
$20-25K?? No way.
I love these little buggers on my Edge. I use them for multiple reasons:
The E60 is a timebomb and a money sink, and I say this as a proud owner of an E92 M3. The sound of that glorious V10 can be worth it if you can live with the stress, and have money to pour into it, but I would rather buy an M3 and slap a good exhaust on it.
The E30 is an icon and with such low mileage I can understand.
The black roof reminds me of the E9x M3's carbon fiber roof, which would be a nice inclusion on the Z.
No mention of how gorgeous that 4 door Datsun is? Such clean lines, so utilitarian, get a decent engine in there and I’d daily drive one!
It looks gorgeous too, congrats on your purchase!
At this point the “day it was delivered” part is also questionable. It could have been filmed over multiple days, after he took delivery of the car just like the rest of us plebs do.
Let’s start a GoFundMe to buy it and crash it in a crash testing facility, just to prove how insanely deadly this thing can be.
Excellent question considering the crap they sell for kids cars (plastic wheels, cheap bodies, etc.) isn’t much cheaper than Jason’s EV. I’m guessing we’re paying more for the licensing of the body than anything. I wouldn’t mind paying a few hundreds for a kids-sized, speed limited EV with proper wheels and a roll…
It’s easy to shit on the Chinese for being the biggest polluters and all, but we’re not close to seeing this in the US, or even Canada (I like to think it’s because of the weather, let me live with my dreams). And then I see stuff like the Diesel Brothers story and I’m left with little hope for society...
