I think there have been studies showing that people’s names can have an influence on their direction in life and careers. So someone with a name like Stormi would not necessarily choose something transitional like law or medicine.

I posted an article about this on Facebook, wondering if the fact that I have no car (by choice) and no kids made up for the flights I take. A relative of mine commented, “Sounds like no life!”

I know someone who was unsure but ultimately had kids for the same reason.

My colleagues who have kids are always getting sick. That alone is enough to put me off having any.

I haven’t driven since my early 20s and wouldn’t trust myself to do so now. Waiting for that self-driving technology to improve a bit, then I’ll consider getting a car.

My experience is generally with cyclists who run stop signs and red lights. They think the rules don’t apply to them.
