Yes this!

Z Nation over-the-top flourish of the week

It took me an embarrassingly long time to recognize Adelaide Kane with an American accent. And then I was fully expecting her real identity to be British, so that was weird.

Long time avclub reader, but this is the first time I’ve commented. I just want to say thanks for the recaps - I really appreciate them. I’ve watched the show since season 1 and it keeps getting better and better.

In hindsight, should not have watched this episode on the Monday evening following the Vegas shooting and Tom Petty’s cardiac arrest.

Wrong. Peak facial hair was season 1. You just didn’t notice because his terrible eighties glasses distracted you. This is a fact. Fact sir!

Not as weird as the “God Bless You!” at the end. He shows more contempt for Americans than anyone I’ve ever met in my life.

Another outbreak of the world’s most predictable and preventable disease

I knew he was dead as soon as the walk through the house started, only because I didn’t see them sending boz and him to the hospital within episodes of each other. Didn’t make it any easier though

In his mind, he was with his wife and kids at their happiest times.

I knew he was a goner when Joe injured his right hand.

That was first rate story telling! Acting, directing, cinematography top shelf. Bravo!

I rewatched it all a few weeks ago, and I don’t think season 1 is as bad as it’s rep.

This is why I’m grateful the show got a proper final season. What a beautiful and emotional episode.

It’s been several hours and I still find myself thinking about this episode. I hope the series ends on a positive note after all this.

I guess there must have been subliminal foreshadowing of his death or something because I felt it too. I was convinced Gordons DIY was going to kill him.

This is the most I cried at an episode of TV since Will Gardner died

It’s going to be really interesting to rewatch the series from the beginning and see how drastically different it is from where it ends.

What a gut punch. Interesting that Gordon was working with his hands all episode, while we see Joe’s hand crushed, and Boz’s hand skewered by a fishing hook right before he gets the call.
