And now we get to listen to a bunch of people acting smarmy for waiting to buy a console next year instead of on launch day. God forbid I enjoy a console from launch day.

Yeah, but we're talking about console exclusivity here, not PC.

Let me know when you play Planetside 2 on the Xbone muthafukaaaaaaaaaaa!

Aye, I saw the trailer, but it's going to be soooo long...

I just want a new Battlefront game, that's all. Defending Hoth from The Empire on PS4, that's what I want to do.

You just said you can get "actual totally free games" on PC, so where are these actual totally free games that you can get on PC? Are you talking about the F2P games? Because the F2P games on PS4 don't require PS+.

As for the "limited selection rental service", sure, you lose access to them when you cease paying for

Character: Zeke Dunbar

"Free" games only as long as you keep paying subscription vs actual totally free games on PC."

So, you can get Battlefield 3, Kingdoms of Amalur, Mass Effect 3, Contrast and XCOM: Enemy Unknown for free on PC? I didn't know that, where can you get these games from for free on PC?

"Then give me your money.

The value is not greatly reduced at all. The IG collection adds sufficient value to PS+ to justify it by itself. That you personally won't benefit from it since you have a firm hatred of playing games on platforms other than your beloved PC does nothing to alter the value it provides to the millions of people who will.

So you're sufficiently minted to spend upwards of two hundred quid on a console, depending on when you get it, simply to play a scant few games that won't come out for PC, yet are inexplicably tight enough to complain about paying slightly more money to play online - if indeed the games you want have an online mode.

"This isn't a matter of opinion"

You're right, it's not.

It's a fact that I pay £40 for the ability to play games that pay for PS+ within the first month, and pay for it dozens of times over by the end of the first year. And now it's become mandatory to play certain other games online - so what? The value is still there.

Why not just not buy a PS4?

No one is forcing you to buy a PS4.

Now playing

You can have two groups of PSN friends: regular friends and "true" friends. To be true friends, or BFFs, you both have to agree. Regular friends will just show up on your lists and games by their handles, but the machine will display true friends' real names, so you don't have to keep remembering that SexCowboy77 is

Technically, Vekta was owned by the Helghast before the ISA had it.

Maybe rookies in base are just considered base security - personnel other than full-fledged soldiers don't show up on the Memorial Wall, interceptor pilots for example.

Well...it is mandatory - what's the problem?

They even included this:

"Not surprisingly, Microsoft's Xbox One requires installation from Blu-Ray, too, and only runs games off the hard drive."

So they're hardly in MS' back pocket. If they were, surely they wouldn't mention it at all?

"You call this generic zombie game and then suggest a series of games based on Jurassic Park?"

A game including genetically engineered dinosaurs doesn't necessarily equate to basing a game on Jurassic Park. There was media involving that well before Michael Crichton wrote books about it. Indeed, the genetic engineering

Yeah, but that's over a decade old, they never made a proper sequel to DC2, and the third one doesn't even feature actual dinosaurs in it.
