I agree. The multiple panes in the old one catches the eye the same way facets on a cut diamond do. The new only is simultaneously too transparent and too reflective, bouncing the logo around too much.
As it doesn't bend that much, I was thinking that they could get away with multiple boards between flex points connected by ribbon cables. But it does open a whole can of worms doesn't it? Flexible batteries for one.
It was explained to me as the percentage being the amount of area being affected. So if you have a 90% chance of light rain, 90% of the area being forecasted for will get likely get light rain and if you have a 10% chance of heavy rain, there will be a small but rain heavy storm that only affects 10% of the area.
