I didn’t love the end of this episode, because the conflict Rand has is entirely too internal, but man, did I start chanting “blood snow” as soon as this episode started.

The chemistry between Perrin and Egwene has been on screen a bunch, and there are some romantic comedy tics (Laila doesn't go to Egwene's ceremony, Perrin looks as nervous as Rand when she comes back, Perrin looks possessive when she's dancing with Aram) that imply he's into her, but it's a turn that doesn't feel…
I rarely have the patience for realistic gore, but Netflix reminded me to maybe watch this after seeing her bit part in this fall's weird chauffeuring-vampires-around movie with a name I can't recall.
Have you ever read the terms of service for iPhones? You can't depict the product in a negative manner (e.g. fictional killers on TV or in movies can't use them). This is exactly what corporations do to fictional depictions of their products.
You’d have to have Americans not worship unfettered* capitalism as the more sacred economic system and probably get rid of prosperity gospel. Modern MLMs spend a lot of energy making sure they aren’t (legally) pyramid schemes and thus subject to being shut down by the courts.
Thanks for asking about my pop culture weekend. That was really thoughtful of you.
Re: Suian and Moraine’s relationship in the books - their relationship being more than platonic is almost entirely carried by the word “pillow friends” uttered three times in New Spring. The books are very oblique about non-heterosexual appearing relationships, and the only explicit reference I can remember involved…
This is one of those things where I liked it fine, and I don't see how it's existence ruins the experience of people who only liked the anime.
Presuming I know why they spent so much time on Stepin’s reaction, and gave us both funerals, I still found this to be my least favorite episode. It especially highlighted how much the characters must depart from the books, though, which is important, I guess, except that Stepin existing in the time of the stories…

My wife’s favorite band, Jimmy Eat World, exists in my memory as a 2001 band for similar reasons.
Ive been watching WoT Thursday evenings, and I don't know if Amazon knows what midnight on Friday actually means.
I watched way too much TV this weekend, because I was nervous about football.
Wellington Paranormal episode is good to know about. Bless you for letting me know.
Where is the love for America’s Thankgiving Parade? New York isn’t the only place with :checks notes: roads and balloons.
I never finished the second season of solar opposites.
Asolutely agree. I really like the 2004 SyFy miniseries, which ends episode one with the storm, and so doesn’t reach that “ending” until 10 or 15 minutes into episode 2.
Addendum: I apparently watched Hit Monkey (not approved by wife, can’t continue while she is watching because gory) and the Cowboy Bebop live action thing, which I forgot about because nothing in it stuck in my brain.
Tell you about my pop culture weekend? Don’t mind if I do.
My big issue with the new Dune is that the ending of the film feels anticlimactic even though I know what it sets up is bigger than the battle that precedes it.
