Also double post. Not my best morning.

Oh no double post.

Honestly I wonder how that would have impacted my view of the film, because there was such a lack of POC compared to the Chicago I've experienced.

I have definitely had lady friends who have said it’s too intense and refused to coach lovers through said intensity to a milder, pleasurable experience.

Yout know, I don't hate it.

A lot of folks have said variations on this: killer delivery of the elevator pitch. I’m in.

Playing Nintendo Switch with a 4 year old. We lack gamer stamina and patience for puzzles, but some things, like costume changing in Lego Marvel games, as good enough distractions.

Romeo Must Die had such a ridiculous gimmick (the bone breaks) that I still absolutely love. I also think of it as ushering in the brief era of rappers as martial artists continued in Exit Wounds and Cradle 2 the Grave.  Bless that movie.

Law school girlfriend convinced me it was a show we needed to watch. She kept the DVDs in the breakup, and I never saw past season one. I remember more plot points than I think were in the first season, though.

I am, apparently, surprised by how few of these I've seen compared to the number of people who actually, you know, watched all of them.  I thought I would have done better on a list of comedies.

This is an important supplement. Thank you.

This aged well (says the guy reading the comments to two month old features on the AV Club)

My kid keeps waking up at 630 am during social distancing, and my spouse is quick to hand over the tablet. Lots of Floogals and PAW Patrol while I try to come to. We also watched a little PJ Masks, so hurray, variety.

I hate that this feels possible.

Not much to recommend it, because it’s been years, but I remember liking the various apocalypses in Chrono Trigger.  I keep wishing it were on Switch for me to re-play.

The “can you binge it” is a small addition, but a welcome one.  Remembering what things are actually available on which service is harder than it should be.

Giving myself hearing damage by playing it at full volume through headphones is not as satisfying as cranking up the soundbar.

Are they going to be good, though? I like Worst Cooks late at night because it usually doesnt make me hungry for their ravioli. I will want a cupcake at 11 pm if these chefs are any good, but I don’t have any at home.

I (fortunately) have all of the Wheel of Time audiobooks digitally, and have been interspersing book one with a re-read podcast discussing the books in sequence, leading up to the premiere of the Amazon series (big oops). Fortunately, each book is about 3 work days and the podcasts episodes for each book probably each

Work from home for the past four or five years. I hated the commute, but still liked being able to go to the library at non-peak hours, and to coffee shops when I wasn’t pressed by deadlines. The knowledge that I can’t leave makes my normal routine feel oppressive.
