@iPolak: I think its actually you that's the troll. They could easily update the screen, look what Motorola did with the Droid 2 coming out so fast. And I didn't JUST say Retina, the first suggestion I made was SAMOLED which the Galaxy S has and is a big improvement over the AMOLED in contrast and outdoor viewing…

@spectralveil: I looked into that and supposedly its still AMOLED. it's still a nice screen but SAMOLED and Apple's IPS LCD are much better from what I've seen in person.

@iPolak: My interest here is i will be in the market for a new phone next spring and keeping my eyes open.

Cool now if they just update them to have SAMOLED or an iPhone 4 quality IPS LCD so I can see the screen outside I'd be interested.

Oh I always just thought they worked well because they are international shapes that are sorta universal things rather than the letters "a, b, x, y" or whatever.

This is some really silly, really obvious advice. I hope no one needs to follow this, but if you do, thats fine, it keesp the job market more open for the rest of us :P

That's one reason I still love my iPhone 3GS, it works awesome, and is always up to date (with jailbreaks too :P).

Had a job interview in NYC today, my iPhone worked great getting me to and from the place, checking train schedules, emails and a couple 30min phone calls.... So yea, NYC area seems good to me.

@am.junk: that's pathetic if true. either way, it would still be better if they worked on 2.2 for this.

I'm sure it would be an even better phone if it ran a stock Android 2.2, like everything else does these days.
