@Dacker: yea this complete bullshit email means i'll eventually be replacing my 3GS with an Android phone if a good one ever comes out that I like and isn't too big.

Glad I canceled my preorder, i really love my 3GS, and wanted the 4, but when I'm ready to buy a phone next i'll be moving on to Android or something else unless this is completely resolved.

@Odin: that been said, its still a pretty damn good video shot completely on an iPhone.

Doesn't this happen with every new iPhone release? I mean really I love my 3GS, its an awesome phone, but I canceled my iPhone 4 preorder when I heard about this. If Apple doesn't fix this situation, I'll be looking at Android or something else when I'm ready to get a new phone.

@JEmlayUSA: I haven't encountered that at all yet. Must be a problem on some less mainstream apps? I mainly use Safari, Email, Maps, Meebo, and Facebook, though.

@MacBandit: What? that's not true at all, i have friends that have had it pushed to their Nexus Ones, both on AT&T I think.

@archercc: a. that still doesn't change the fact that at&t is the fastest, or one of the fastest 3Gs.

@archercc: funny, except most benchmarks put their 3G at the fastest in the country, and they have simultaneous voice and data, along with visual voicemail.

@Nitemancometh: really? i thought Froyo was out? My friend with a Nexus One said his already updated and its really nice. I don't have an Android phone though (iPhone) so I don't know.

Release it within the next 24 months and I'm happy. Make it less linear than FF-XIII and I'm sold.

@Chrystolis: If that's true, I would never turn on the Xbox again.

Platinumed Demon's Souls here in the US. It's one of my favorite games of all time.

@kyosti23: No it isn't part of PSN+, it didn't say that anywhere. It's free.

Is this a built in application this time instead of a separate disk?

A decent comparison, the only issue I have is that the Galaxy S isn't even announced yet.

I like Firefox 3.6 a lot. Its obviously very good on memory, has excellent extensions, very stable (firefox 3.5-3.6 have never crashed on me once) and pretty fast. The only thing its lacking is a fast and modern javascript engine. Hopefully that'll be fixed in the next major version (4.0?).

@d1zzle: I agree, the free PSN is a great service for free. There is simply nothing compelling here to pay $50 a year for PSN+. Maybe in the future that will change.

@SEDAGIVE?!: yea the N1 is definitely the best Android device, it has solid build quality and good battery life (something most of them lack). That been said, I wouldn't buy an Android device until SAMOLED or IPS LCD was equiped, I need to be able to see my screen outside like my iPhone has had for years.

@gerbintosh: your right about netflix and the web browser being free on PS3. I use them both on my PS3 occasionally but both are pretty much crap. The web browser is outdated and needs new HTML/CSS/Javascript engines, and Flash 10.1. I'm not saying it doens't work, it does, but its just a very mediocre experience.

@melissam28: thats rough, at least the at&t microcell is $50 after a rebate, you and your roomates should split it.
