The scary thing is we are on schedule for that fashion to circle back around in several years. The 90s shit was bad enough but, Jesus Christ, I’m not prepared to see teenage girls walking around with ridiculously low jeans, covered in butterflies from head to toe.

Sometimes when a person has that, their tone can come off cold without them meaning for it to be that way. That’s partly, I think, why shy people get dismissed as snobby a lot of the time.

Taking a civil case to trial is very time-consuming, i.e, very expensive. An hourly bill from the initial filings through trial could easily reach six figures with at least another 50K or so spent at trial. I know she’s a celebrity and she makes good money but I’d be shocked if she paid by the hour on this.

I’d hope he’d direct and cast someone appropriately young. Cause I don’t wanna see him make out with Beyonce either, and really, how realistic is it that someone Beyonce’s age would be first rising to stardom?

I’m also enraged by the people who say it was “just pictures”. He’s a stalker. He could have killed her. No amount of money will ever bring back that peace of mind.

That her stalker only got 2 1/2 years is a fucking travesty. He stalked her to several hotels, got the staff to give him a room next to her, altered the peephole and took video that he posted online. Why should he get freedom so quickly when Erin will have to live with the impact of his crimes for the rest of her

And it has to be a boyfriend. If they think you’re a lesbian, they view you as a challenge.

My guy friends think I’m an asshole for always pretending to be in a relationship when I get hit on. To be honest, whether it is ethically right or wrong to lie to someone in that situation does not matter to me. I just do what I think is the most likely to get the guy to stop hitting on me, and the least likely to

I was channel surfing at the gym just yesterday and came upon 7th Heaven. I used to be all for watching cheezy TV reruns, but not anymore. I know some networks took 7th Heaven out of the lineup, but not the UP network, apparently.

It sounds like a really crappy chocolate brand that you buy on discount after Valentine’s Day, and then immediately regret eating because in all honesty it just isn’t worth the calories, even if it is the only chocolate you have in the house.

And forgetting Native Americans exist. Cause, you know, black people are the only ones that are really shit on by Hollywood. (Rock did not actively say that, but some of his comments were tone deaf to the fact that other races have really, really suffered).

Don’t forget the Jews as well (I believe it was 2 Asians and a Jewish boy who were the “accountants” for PWC).....

I’m just glad white and black people could finally come together over mocking Asian people.

Just like how women always carry the burden of fixing sexism and the patriarchy. We never seem to learn as a society - at least, not fast enough.

And yet, he is not acting on a cruise ship. Have you seen bad actors? Because holy shit Leo is NOT a bad actor. I’m no superfan but let’s be real, the dude is the top 1% of talented actors ever. It’s a situation where people trash pro athletes without acknowledging it’s .0009% likely one will ever be a pro athlete.

My read on the joke was “the Oscars are so white that they think having Stacy Dash as a diversity outreach person simply because she’s black is a good idea. “ Which is a reasonably funny joke if you get the context. Bringing herher out on stage though kind of reinforced the point of the joke maybe? Like “the Oscars

I knew this guy in college... douchey wingnut, wore Confederate flag t-shirts, etc. Not very bright. Whenever he said something stupid, there would often be someone there to make some scathing, sarcastic comment back that was essentially making fun of him... and he would laugh along because he had no idea his idiocy

I’m 100% sure she did not get the joke.

Does anyone feel like they don’t have friends? I never kept in touch with people from high school or before. Even then, I was never close to anyone. But as a grew up, I never made close relationships. I do have a few acquaintances but I don’t many close people I confide in. 3 maybe 4, and we don’t talk daily or even

So... Fuller House. The only parts of it I like so far are Kimmy Gibbler (who I hated in the original) and the new version of the theme song. Also, it’s a little too self-referential about the frequency of hugs. Other thoughts?
