This is that moment when I wonder if ol’ Tuck actually said that, or if it really matters.

Sad to say when I heard about this one of my first thoughts was wondering when the ‘cancel culture’ tour would begin. I’m sure that set would be happy to be able to stop pretending they know who the fuck Ariel Pink is anyway.

He just said what they’re all thinking.

If you read any deeper coverage from when he was initially diagnosed, you’ll see he had some symptoms but was sadly afraid to have it checked out.  So sad.

While cancer can certainly move fast, I do wonder if this is also a symptom of folks putting off routine medical checks throughout 2020 because of the pandemic. News coverage said he felt body ache and “general unease” at the beginning of the year and that’s what sent him in. Wonder if he was supposed to have an exam

This whole Gospel According to RLM thing is so obnoxious. I can’t even begin to count every time I wanted to slap some fanboi upside the head when they’d quote RLM to savage the PT and George Lucas. And I say this as someone who’s gotten a laugh over their stuff and actually agreed with them on some things.

It all started with Red Letter Media’s takedown of the prequel trilogy. At that point, too many fans started caring way too much about whether or not anything could live up to their nostalgia.

I mean, ultimately, it’s fine to tweet shit like that because why not.

It’s far from the worst thing she’s done. I just find her so awful and insufferable that I confess I’ll roll my eyes at anything she does, though in this instance I just thought it seemed a little tryhard but probably not outright fabrication. Just

I always hate “tricks” like this — Test Kitchen does them all the time — because they don’t address the fact that baking soda will add a flavor, so, what does it do? I suppose it’s salty.

The dactyllic hexameter didn’t tip you off?

I’m really hoping to hear if people really, really liked an episode or really, really disliked it. Also, bonus points if they discuss why they’re going to stop watching the series.

I don’t really care much about the characters, but both PB and EO are great, that’ll worth a watch.

Also, someone on the field said “fuck” at one point, and everyone on the Nick broadcast had to awkwardly pretend it didn’t happen.

It was better than the CBS broadcast, in large part because the announcers were all together at the stadium, unlike Nantz and Romo trying to work apart from each other and battling a delay.

I don’t know about you, but I would love to watch a football game where they’re dropping anvils on the players or giving each other birthday cakes with dynamite for candles.

Looking forward to "Clarissa Explains What a Catch is."

Correct. It’s spelled “vichyssoise”.

I mean, he did what you think he should have: he identified them as normal people going back to doing normal things at normal places. There was nothing snobbish about it.

That’s a viscous lie!

It’s fairly consistent okay Italian food. Like most change food places it’s main advantage is you can go to one in any state and know pretty much exactly what you are getting. I have, of course, eaten at way better Italian restaurants but I’ve also taken a chance with a non-chain place and it being awful.
