I’m only on Book 3 and have had that same theory already. I haven’t seen the shows so I’m not sure how they line up. But they mentioned a few times a pack of wolves being lead by a large one. Why mention it but never use or really see it? At least I have not seen it yet. I’m just a bit after the Red Wedding.

Same, but my 2003 Mustang had them too, nut my 2000 Escort did not. So it seem be be a cross around 1995-1999 as the Escort designed in 1996 did not have them, but 2yrs later the Mustang did.

Depends on what a turbo swap would do and cost. And what the internals can take.

SVO? I’d love an SVO. 350-375HP, would be sweet.

I was always more of a WingsWest lipkit fan.

Shouldn’t be. The Q50 3.0t(which is literally the same engine as the Red Sport) is just 38K. Take away all the luxury stuff, swap it for better suspension, and a 6spd. Then engine re-tune. It could likely be sold starting at $49,999. 400HP for 50K, and then 500HP for the NISMO.

I hope they have gotten better. I know 3 people that got the new MK5 or 6 when they had their “feed your fast” push and all 3 ended up with tons of quality issues from body, to interior, to engine failures to DSG problems. Same for a buddy that bought a TT from that time. It honestly put me off VW.

I’m okay with it, I just wish both were matte to get rid of the glare, and that the bottom screen was input and the top was output. the top screen is a bit of a reach forward and I just never use the dial on the console. In face I have to remove my phone from my coat pocket as it will otherwise bump the buttons in teh

Yeah it’s not bad by any means, I remember from 96-2010 the bottom end on Mustangs v8's were limited to about 475 wheel before it would let go. It’s just that it’s so easy to hit that limit.

The original rumor for the new Z car was just that, the VR rated at 440. which really the Q50/60 dyno closer to 430-440 anyway. They could just do an ECU tune for that, but I’d like them to do more. Right now the weak point is the tranny and that’s with just upgraded stock turbos making 19PSI. Not bad for how old the

Honestly, just the shift time. the tranny in the Q50/60 are good till about 520-550AWHP

Actually the quality on them is just fine, and the worst part of them is that they shift slowly for a modern transmission. Nissan was smart enough to at least upgrade them for their new application so they are taking 500-550wheel reliably before slipping. One would hope the new Z would use both a new platform and a

While I love that SOMEONE is making an engine like this, I just wish it was Toyota doing it. It’s like buying a 240SX with a nice turbo 4 that is all made by VW but sold by Nissan. It’s kinda the same.. but also very not.

I’m interested in what Nissans answer would be if this engine made it into the Supra. Currently

That interior looks really nice. Is much as I’d like more power end grunt in an 86, that styling would have to make me give it a really hard think.

Buddy had a super clean GS-R. Those cars were awesome.

I’m talking about the 1997-2003 ZX2. They had the 2.0 DOHC Zetec.

It was sad for a while, the Mustang had a 145HP 3.8v6 in 98 and in 99 the Escort had a 143-146HP(depending on Cali or not) trim with a 2.0 i4. Even before that the Escort was making 130 and was faster than the v6 Mustang.

GLI is keeping the 6spd.

I’d take it over either. I’ve never liked a Porsche design and the same for most BMW’s. I also know that the BMW owners I know spend more time in the shop than the Audi owners. So I have less faith in BMW.

Yeah, but I don’t care about other people, I care about me.
