After 11k miles and 11 months of ownership I haven’t had any serious complaints either. I love being able to haul shit when I need to, and it’s overall mad comfortable and I still love walking up to the car. It doesn't sound as nice as my E90 335, But with the added reliability and space I'm still sold!

Luft6 was totally worth taking a cross country flight for. Like you said, if people think all 911s look alike, Luft will show every single interpretation of what any air-cooled Porsche could look like, and all those little details are what got me. To see all this in one place was fantastic. Now I'm itching to make

Yeeees! I’m in.

Bronn kind of practiced at the battle where the Tarleys died, didn’t he?

Speaking of wight Lyanna, I would’ve really liked to see more of a fight between the reanimated Stark corpses in the crypt, particularly wight Aunt Lyanna vs. Sansa.

There is that anti-dragon catapult thing in the Red Keep though...

I was definitely at once left satisfied and unsatisfied by this episode. It was exciting, there were plenty of twists, but in the end, no one REALLY big died, and everything happened JUST at the right time to make sure none of said really big people were in danger. Still a badass episode, though.

Why are all these people trying so hard to get into USC? Not that I think it’s a bad school or otherwise easy to get into, but is it THAT hard to get into it or more prestigious than an Ivy or Stanford, etc.?

I was going to star the comment but noticed it had 22 likes so I left a comment instead.

Though her points are correct that we all get SO worked up about even the perception of anti-semitism, regardless of how unfounded and flimsy the pretext, nothing gets said of bigotry in a lot of other categories, she’s getting dangerously close to the dreaded whataboutism that we also get upset about when Repubs do

This is the best summary I’ve seen of this impending scenario. Very well said.

I agree with your definition of offensiveness, which is why dumbasses are still doing blackface from time to time and don’t see anything wrong with it. However, a reasonable person SHOULD be offended by blackface, whereas a reasonable person should not be offended when jews and money are mentioned in the same context,

No, because blackface is always offensive, partly because it is always a deliberate action. Mentioning the two topics of Jews and money in the same sentence/paragraph/text does not automatically mean you say “Jews control the media through money.” Especially in this specific case, where AIPAC clearly, and admittedly,

I believe you can run for re-election, just not consecutive terms. I don’t think there’s anything stopping from either Kaine or McAuliffe running for gov.

Willful misreadings of statements, both written and oral, have been super popular the last few weeks (and, of course, throughout history) with the main examples being this Green New Deal supposedly coming for all cows, milkshakes, and banning airtravel TOMORROW!!!!!, the imagined infanticide statement by Ralph

That’s the thing, though. You interpreted it as engaging in age-old canards about Jews manipulating the world with money, but the statement itself does not irrefutably refer to that trope. There was nothing factually wrong with her statements, since AIPAC does in fact (as they themselves have admitted) seek to

I’m pretty sure she wasn’t going for the “jews are controlling the media” trope. I think it’s basically as rep. Kildee from Michigan said: “I wouldn’t take it as anti-Semitism. We ought to be careful not to construe that in anything other than a concern about the fact that money has undue influence on political

Maybe twitter noob here, but why did she tag Ilhan Omar but not Trump in this tweet that was directed at him?

“This is not an economist’s problem,” she added. “If we’re looking at it as a business, if we’re treating education as a business...like corporations, then I would say that we also need a $2 trillion bailout. We need for a government to save teachers, to save schools. We’d like that bailout.”

Willfully misreading things said by people you disagree with is not a new strategy, sadly. Look at the Virginia abortion outrage that just happened last week. Northam didn’t say anything about infanticide during/after birth, and clearly there was nothing even remotely close to that in the bill that he was
