Yay! It’s DOTS!
Yay! It’s DOTS!
The one my wife and I live in may be slightly larger. We’re lucky in that we don’t live in a climate that gets so hot that it can cause a smell, and we have plumbed water and sewage. Our cooker is broken, and the look is really taken off the place by my 55” TV (which I owned from when we rented previously). We’re on…
As someone who’s spent the last year living in a much larger version of this, I can vouch for getting sick of it. Especially in winter. But it’s a means to an end. It helped my wife and I pay for our wedding and is currently enabling us to save a mortgage for a proper house. But it means, potentially, another three or…
I can’t listen to, read or think about Hole without this coming to the forefront of my mind:
I think systems like CarPlay and Android Auto have less chance of becoming obsolete than OEM systems, though. CarPlay just received a major update with the release of iOS 13. Your phone does a lot of the heavy lifting with those systems. It also means things like map updates are a thing of the past. God, what an…
Not a whole heap.
Indeed. I’m looking at it on an 8 year old Macbook Air with a smashed screen and I could still see it pretty clearly.
I haven’t been a big fan of the 3's new design, but this car does look very cool. I like the single, centre-mounted exhaust. I’m not sure I’ve seen a single new 3 on the road yet, though. Is it even for sale in Europe yet?
I didn’t know that. I didn’t like any of the stuff that came after that album. Kelli Dayton’s voice is what made it for me.
I had a version of the song (from the old Napster days) that didn’t have the “a-one two” part in it, and the song benefitted enormously.
I’m tempted, but the rearward visibility in my car is so good that I’ve never really felt I needed one. In saying that, I’ve used it on my brother’s V40 (whose rear visibility is horrendous) and found it great. I think if I was planning on keeping my car much, much longer, I’d do it for sure, but the fact is I’m not…
Loved those first gen C70s (coupé only). The metallic saffron coloured one used in all the press shots was perfection to me.
My family have had a number of cars with the Aisin 5-speed over the years. I’m on my second. My ‘04 S60 has had some problems, some of which have been documented, but my wife still drives it. My current V70 (two years newer - both cars pushing 200,000 miles now). None of those owned by my family have seemed sluggish…
It is a gorgeous colour...
I drive a non-R version of this car’s following generation, and I’m a Volvo nut, so I love this car, and I love its condition, which is probably good enough to attract somewhat of a premium, but $15,000 is an asking price that demands Nurse Ratched gives the seller some special attention.
Is that as opposed to female penis?
I’m thinking strongly about getting a CarPlay double-din head unit for my ‘06 Volvo V70. They’re quite reasonably priced, the stereo in my car is broken, and it’ll give me extra functionality. I’m hoping to hold on to my V70 for a few more years despite the mileage creeping up (keeping it taxed and insured is getting…
God dan auto correct. Stupid ducking iOS 13 Swipe keyboard won’t learn my sitting vernacular
I wasn’t aware of that. I guess dropping Raging Point (I blame autocorrect, which isn’t even sorry) does seem the most likely outcome in that case.
They’ll drop Williams. Mercedes has a technical partnership with Force India. I’m sure part of that has transferred to Racing Point
