The best electric car is two cars. I bought a used leaf as a commuter and in-town vehicle. It supplemented an F150 that gets 15 mpg. I paid like 14,000 all-in two years ago. I will likely never recoup this cost but it’s really nice not to have to buy gas.

Did you know truck tires are inflated to ~100 psi? And cars to ~40? Who exerts more pressure on the road?

Most headlamps have replaceable drivers. I don't think that's the case with tails or signals, so yeah, they'll be expensive.

We live in Colorado and like to ski. AWD vehicles and snow tires. It’s so much fun driving to the resort on a pow day. 

However since plagues and the environment doesn’t care about class, it’ll be interesting how well they maintain this in the next 50-100 years.

“Sealed” means there are seals, not that the bearings are hermetically sealed. Some seals are non-contact, which means they have lower friction, but aren’t as effective at preventing contaminant ingress.
