MAGA Chuds and Woke Bloggers are two sides of the same coin.

The USSF is laughably bad at pretty much everything.

Lmao at saying Thailand is ranked 34th like that means anything.

So... this article should really be skewering US Soccer, who clearly reached out to all these professional teams with templates asking them to tweet it out to their followers.

Shoulder shrug...this doesn’t seem near as sexist (if at all) as the headline makes it seem. All the teams used a similar template including the WNBA with most going with hype photos. It seems like this is a really odd/lame thing for someone to spend all day doing on Twitter, especially to be doing it during the

Where does this post rank in the history of worst-ever Deadspin posts? Top Ten? Top Five? Worst Ever?

Pro teams promoting their own products is not a problem and the ads are obviously meant to show solidarity. You would think any mention would be appreciated given how few people give a shit about the WWC.

Just to be clear on this:

I wonder where that template came from...

I am guessing the template was sent to the teams.  And then the potentially male interns put the tweet together.

Not only is Deadspin upset, Twitter user Malinda is upset. Some of them tweets had up to 8 likes! Deadspin would have been the laughing stock of the internet had they not published this story.

It has to be marching orders from above. Get the masses angry and offended and coming back for more. I wonder if it tracks the move to Univision.

Teams marketing their own teams on Twitter by latching on to a big sporting event?!?!?! WHAT AN OUTRAGE!!!!

Could this possible be anything but a coordinated campaign BY the USWNT asking teams to do EXACTLY THIS? I see zero indication these men’s teams came up with this idea.

This isn't a big deal.

Hey, it’s 2019. It's about time Americans (ALL Americans) got used to the idea that guys play sports.

This is clearly a template the USWNT collabed with leagues/teams to make. It’s honestly a cool show of support.

I mean, this was clearly orchestrated by US Soccer. So, ok, blame them if you want. The various sports teams are obviously going along with what they see as a request from USWNT to be supportive and leverage sports fandom far and wide.

Pfft. Whatever. I didn’t see any of these teams doing anything for the USMNT during last year’s men’s World Cup.

other than malinda being very annoying, i don’t see the problem here.
