One of my instructors was a designer on the Precept. He liked to tell the story of their competition with the engineering team to get the lowest cD. The engineers wanted a schmooey blob like the EV1, and the designers wanted hard edges and crisper surfaces.

A cD of .23? Can that really be right? It’s hard to believe that anything less that .25, a few short years ago, was concept-car-territory.
