Dropping my vote for the rotormotor. Back when I bought my 914, they were so cheap that people were doing 13B swaps in them, and I still dream of buying one just to try it.
Having sat in an OG gT40, I can say without a doubt that if it were my money, it’d be the ‘05 for me. Still just sex on wheels, plus I could turn the steering wheel and not chop off the top of my head.
Those wheels just look so cheap and out of place. Like something you’d find in the lobby of your local tire store.
Not 100% terrible.
Of course they don’t
Rule#1: If you’re gonna fuck around with deadly stuff, WEAR YOUR GEAR.
Solidworks was (may still be?) windows-only. That was the bottleneck.
I wish I didn’t hate Logitech for no real reason. Somehow they’ve always been jusr off enough that I can’t seem to like their stuff. But it’s been a couple years. I had one of their RF keyboards. I kinda hate their mice. Maybe I should give them another go.
Only Apple product here is the iphone; I’m 100% MS otherwise.
Trackballs, while maybe more comfortable, are 100% unuseful for me doing CAD and stuff on the go. I need a small, comfortable, Bluetooth (NO RF DONGLE) mouse.
Whoa. Cole Haans did that? Not my type of shoe, but when did you get them?
Definitely keep driving it like that.
I do this, but with final-gen T Birds. Can’t really explain why, but I went a few years there where I’d see one (not the same one) damn near every day. Mostly on the south side of town, or east side. It seems like 97% of that gen T Birds were sold in Austin, or ended up here.
I also like a dash of soy sauce in mine. Either way, cheers.
Y’know, I didn’t give a shit about Koenigsegg for the first 15 years or so. But now, I’ve really come to respect not just the cars, but the company, and everything about why he did what he did. This just makes me like them, and him, even more.
Same boat. I started building my own business a year ago, after I was laid off, and this week’s been a total shitshow. Got one new contract for work stuff, which, if I knock it out, should be good. Left a “partnership” that wasn’t really a partnership, which ended up being me doing a bunch of free work, which, fuck…
Probably Sonos, if you have the $.
