I don’t know, in all the games that have played in the the 116 years of the MLB there have only been three cases of deaths caused by baseballs. Statistically, that’s probably in “struck by lightning” territory.

I’d argue they’re 100% ok with San Jose and Boston, plus St. Louis is a good hockey market and Carolina has a new owner, so I’m sure they believe this to be a revitalizing of that market.

Counterpoint: teams should realize that kickers score about 30% of all points in football and should invest in them properly.
