Nissan is the next Mitsubishi. Boring, forgettable cars that will soon be nothing more than rental fleet fodder.

“For Sale: Rust-free, low miles, never driven in winter, no electrical problems, stripped interior. Ideal for engine swap. Needs new tires. $22,000 firm.”
Counterpoint: How often do cops issue tickets for reckless driving in a low speed rear ending? And on private property? I’ve been rear ended at a stop sign. No ticket issued. One time I was hit in a parking lot I managed to flag a cop. He did nothing because it wasn’t on the street.
Gotta agree with the other early commenters, the lady is at fault. Ignorance is no excuse and if someone hit my car, I’d want them to pay something too. The ticket may be a bit much, but it is still cheaper than painting a bumper or hitting someone in the car wash. My mother is 77 and her driving is starting to really…
The fuck does this have to do with politics? A careless driving ticket is certainly warranted, because she was driving, carelessly, but this has fuck all to do with left or right. Pull your head out of Trump’s ass and start using it to think.
This site is constantly spewing far left nonsense.
I feel like so many of these restoration and tuner companies end up in hot water, it is weird.
Also, coal represents only about 16% of national kWh generation: https://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=427&t=3
RE EVs: For the last decade plus, everytime I’ve seen EVs discussed in a public forum (even when it’s about the merits of a specific model) someone who has been watching way too much Fox News always barges in and says something to the effect of “I bet you greenie weenies never considered those fancy electric cars are…
The Ineos seem to be suddenly popular around here. I’d never even heard of them, and now I seem to see one every day (even multiple). My neighbor down the street even bought one. I have to believe there is some sort of work-around to a single supplier having issues.
Trim pieces? Surely someone else can make those.
So far we’ve seen this robot as a guy in a spandex suit, then an elaborate mechanical turk being puppeted by someone just off camera, and now locked away behind glass. But surely it’s not just more vaporware to pump Tesla stock price.
This will scare you, but sometimes we leave our own borders. Mad eh?
MMMM, Fusilli, what a great sauce retention pasta type.
When it’s 20°F outside and your range falls to 125 miles, it matters.
Totally understandable. I travel from SW Ohio to Outer Banks, NC (which there is very little DCFC infrastructure between eastern Kentucky and the entire state of WV) every year for vacation. There is only a little L2 and DCFC out on the Outer Banks, but we make it work.
So a G-wagon had a one night stand with a Range Rover
I can’t speak for the vast majority. But for myself, we regularly travel around 250 miles one way, to locations that do not have charging infrastructure, and we don’t have time to wait for a level one charge.
I wouldn’t say it looks like an evolution of the Grenadier, it looks more like a cross between a G Wagon and a Jeep Commander. Not bad looking at all, but I wouldn’t be surprised if something comes up with questioning whether Magna could build it due to copyright squabbles since they already build the G.
I like the idea of range extenders. For my family, a range extender is the difference in an EV being viable or not.
