Oh but monsieur, it's only a wafer-thin mint! Only a tiny, little thin one…

The last lines in the Galaxy song seemed as relevant as ever:

I took a friend to a Monty Python retrospective, and we watched The Meaning of Life. She absolutely loved it, even though she claims she'd never heard of Monty Python before (she's 22), and I confirmed that I still make good friend choices.

I read an interview where they talk about all these questions left unanswered from the first season and all these clues they left along the way but I've watched the entire thing and by the life of me I wouldn't believe there's anything behind the surface because everything feels like it stays at surface level. The late title card was a master stroke to be sure, but personally, the second episode already loses a lot of the goodwill it creates. That being said the show does have some good moments along the way, but I'm still not sure I would recommend it.

I feel so validated by this thread. It took me a couple of days to finish this movie because it failed to grab my attention at all, but I wanted to finish it because some of my friends really liked it. Now I can show them these comments so that they know I'm not the only one.

Why must you hurt me so.

Oh man, if I think about Fred's last scene before turning into Illyria for more than a second I still get all choked up.

Upvoted because I just made the exact same comment out loud.

I went for an all-indie lineup and watched Joshy, The Intervention and Other People. The first one was definitely not good, like, at all, but had actors I like in it so it went by pretty fast; the second one was a little better, but not by much, although Melanie Lynskey saved it for me; and the last one made me cry a

I just knew you would notice her and comment about it! (it's what I came to do too). And also yes to feeling she's gonna be good in this.

I only came to check if you guys had listed the new Phantogram. You did. Good job.

I like where your mind is.
I didn't know about Yukio Mishima, but I'm catching up on him right now!

Being a walking dichotomy is in this season.

OK so I went looking and the first 4 preferences it shows for me are, in this order:
- LGBT
- The Art of Manliness
- War
- Buddhism
