Thanks to Superstore now I know to describe Ben Feldman like someone who looks "like a panda and a Disney Princess if they had a baby." So accurate it hurts.

I may or may not have rushed to send a link to this article to a couple friends so that they can save the date and we can have a viewing party.

Oy with the poodles already!

You mean, Ben's with Glory? Like, they're working together?

Every couple of years someone mentions this book to me, I try to buy it, I can't find it, and then I forget about it. I'M GOING TO BOOKDEPOSITORY RIGHT NOW. Thanks for the reminder!

I need more Ruth Negga than what we're currently getting, but yeah, so far so good.

I've never watched The Bachelorette, but knowing they're filming here, added to my limited knowledge of american reality-shows, made me shudder a bit.

According to IMDb Stellan Skarsgard has 8 children, and 5 of them are actors, so I'm actually surprised we don't see Skarsgards everywhere, all the time.

I think because its last season was so short, I still haven't really accepted that Person of Interest is actually over.

It actually came up on my feed a couple of days ago and I totally forgot about it so thank you for the reminder!

Last-Minute-Panic is the way to go for me as well. But in my case I feel I use that as an excuse. so if the work ends up being less than perfect, I can blame it on the fact that I didn't really dedicate as much time as I could to it, but I could have, if I wanted.

I really really like Killjoys. While being completely able to admit it's not perfect, I have to say, it's super entertaining.

The Avalanches - If I Was A Folkstar
Andrew Bird - Roma Fade
Chet Faker - No Diggity
UNKLE - When Things Explode
Courtney Barnett - Pedestrian at Best
Years & Years - Ready For You
Garbage - We Never Tell
James Blake - I Hope My Life
Radiohead - Identikit
Bat For Lashes - Honeymooning Alone

No joke, there are several episodes that I know almost line by line. Watching this show with other people gets weird really fast when I'm repeating what the characters are saying while they're doing it.

I'm halfway through season 3 of PoI and it really gets increasingly better over time. In any case, what's not to love about Amy Acker shooting a bunch of Russians with the voice of God guiding her via Bluetooth?

I'm late to this show, but I retroactively need this now.

This is the exact type of comment that made me finally start watching this show. Man, everyone makes it sound like I've been missing out on something super important. Would you say I'll start seeing the part of the show everyone loves this season? I was never really clear on when exactly it got really good.

Thanks for the encouragement! And yes, as a long time student of semiotics, I'm used to reading everything at least 3 times before I feel like I'm beginning to skim the surface of any given text.
I think I found the book you said, it's called Hegel: Phenomenology and System, and it's described as a distillation of Hegel

Oh well, I'm fairly certain that being a non-American at the other end of the Continent means something is going over my head as well. I don't know that I would read it again though.

I'll definitely check out Hegel's Ladder. This is the first semester I take Philosophy, and I would be lying if I said it wasn't a bit hard, at least at first, to get into the right mindset needed to actually understand what I was reading. Before we started on Hegel, I did look for some secondary material when I had
