28 miles along I-40 separates Conway, AR and North Little Rock, AR. NLR weather is “Good”, and Conway is “Average”. Not sure how they can be different, which makes one question the grading in this report.

Why not just make the lights *automatic* (as the default option). Seriously, the tech is out there, and is really good. Even my 11 yr old Lexus LS does this with no problem. I would add one slight mod though - have lights also turn on if wipers are on.

Lexus “blasphemy” according to some, but that sound though!

The ‘05-06 LS430s aren’t far off from this price ($12-18k depending on mileage & options); some people like the more classical styling, and known for slightly better build quality.

I have an ‘05, and can vouch that every single bell & whistle works fine. This is Lexus, not a Mercedes/BMW where only 10 or the 30 electronic features actually work...

Nah, you can take it to a Toyota dealer and pay less than a grand. Small price to pay considering you won’t see the dealer for anything else other than oil changes...

Grew up with the same truck (dad bought slightly used in ‘83); ours was canary yellow & rust, cracked brown naugahyde interior, AM radio w/ a single 4” paper cone speaker, and a white fiberglass camper. Slow as hell, ugly as sin, tough as nails (would not die).

How strange - I could have written a similar article... Last fall I bought an 82 GS550LZ (pretty much the exact same bike) for $400 from a seller that said the stator was bad. He was right, but forgot to mention carbs also needed rebuilt/synched, valves adjusted with new shims, new ignition system, new plugs/wires,

that’s how loosers spell it...

In regards to Subway, just skip the bread altogether and have them make your sandwich as a chopped salad. One of my favorites is a roast beef spinach salad with spicy mustard as the dressing. Just as good as the sandwich, with 5 servings of vegetables, and sans all that bread/carbs/sugar.

Perfect!

If I recall, it had more to do with how slippery the car was; a dirty car had more drag. This is also why aero engineers & designers are invaluable to the transportation industry. As for weight, mud at most weighed what, 10-15lbs? Probably takes more than that to lose 2mpg

Still have a long way to go to match Lexus, just ask Matt Farah

yes, and they usually work better. Additionally, the blade itself can be replaced apart from the frame, and replacements are as low as $4. You may not have heard of the NWB division, or Nippon Wiper Blade; however, you probably know the other - Nippon DENSO. Quality parts, which is why they are OEM on many vehicles.

Not sure which year, but I’m seeing a Monte Carlo from the rear...

NWB. This is the brand of wipers bought by Jalops. They work properly, and last. No hype, just the best wipers you can buy.

This is easy. New riders do best with smaller displacement, lighter weight, well-balanced, mid-control bikes. So for the street, the obvious choice is a used dual-sport or super-moto bike. Bonus is that if you lay one over, no one is really gonna notice!
