Obama went to people in rural areas he knew wouldn’t vote for him and asked them what they wanted, because if he won he’d be their president too. Those gestures bought him a lot of good will. Hillary didn’t take that route, and it cost her greatly.

That’s the kicker. Even if Bernie had lost I believe it would’ve been a closer race, because he yelled a lot about manufacturing, bringing jobs and money home, and not letting billionaires keep exporting jobs that exploit people in third world countries

And they just elected a guy who, with so many overseas ventures, has himself benefited from those same trade deals that hosed them.
