I dare say thank you notes have little to do with thanking the recipients and more to do with inflating the sender's ego. Nothing personal, mind you. Just the vibe I get from most "thank you" note sending people.

I'm split 50/50 between a 5.1 setup and fullsized headphones. The only problem I've ever had with my 5.1 is it is an older model and while they are still perfect, the bass is overpowering without adjusting software EQ to drop the low-end a little bit and lord, I hate realtek with a passion.

I'm thinking a single track on the ceiling to keep it standing upright and perhaps a simple cable attached to the wall and to the back edge of the shelf so you can't pull it out of the track easily.
